Help? my new pup is petrified ?

if you've ever played nintendogs id reccomend starting off just taking it round the garden. after about 2 days i'd start taking them for short walks down maybe the road and back taking the dog a bit further each day? get the dog slowly used to going for a walk and worry about playing fetch later as our dog doesnt even bother bringing the ball back
