Wondering why burnt cds won't play in my vehicle?

i can burn an audio cd on my laptop, but it will not play in my vehichle. i have tried mp3 and wav, and still the same thing. i have other cds that have been made {not on this computer} that play fine, wondering if it might be my computer settings, any help?
